Indepth weekend Workshop of Contact Improvisation hosted By DRUNA in Prague

The exact theme of the workshop is still in being decided. I have three themes that are currently inspiring me.
- Shifting states and fertilizing the natural arc or progression of a dance session. How we flow from more slow internal states, to faster more elastic states able to respond quickly to other dancers, to more gentle and restorative modes of sharing massage and simple presence.
- Group oriented practices of contact improvisation: dancing with multiple partners, and improvising with the whole space.
- Distributing effort and movement in ourselves and with our partners. This theme connects Contact Improvisation and the Feldenkrais Method. We study how the dynamic distribuition of effort allows for easy movement where the strain or effort is not born too much by one person or one part of a person. This is a natural complement to the classic Contact Improvisation principles of sharing and exchanging weight and support.
More details to come soon. Registration and INFO via DRUNA.
